Frolic–a duet in C is a fast-paced, fun duet for late-elementary students that was performed at the 2014 MMTA Honors Concert by Junior-A level students. The melody features simple rhythms in ascending and descending five-note scales. Simple dynamic changes make the music come alive. After a passage of descending five-note scales that move from player to player, the melody comes back and extends itself to a full octave for a rousing ending!
